Build Camp 2019!
Imagine. Invent. Create.
June 14th and 15th 2018
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Held at the Chapman Home & Shop
6796 South 1800 East
Uintah, UT 84405
Here are some example projects we may be working on
- Build a power hammer for blacksmithing.
- Build a high temperature electric heat treating oven capable of reaching temperatures over 2000 degrees for melting metal and hardening tool steel.
- Finish a lawnmower powered side by side ATV.
- Build an addition to our treeless tree house with additional tower, climbing wall, zipline, and slide.
- Electric rideable train.
You will be amazed what kids can do! We will be building cool projects which will teach skills, techniques, abilities, boost confidence and give your child an experience he or she will never forget. We will complete real projects with real results. All projects are intended to inspire and motivate kids and families to do fun projects at home.
Talented parents are invited to come and help out. What a great way to spend quality time with your children!
Due to the creative nature of build camp we may or may not complete any or all of the intended project but we are committed to make sure that each child has an equal opportunity to participate, learn and grow.
Ages 12 and up are invited. Parents are encouraged (but not required) to attend. Build Camp starts at 10:00 AM on each day and ends at about 5:00 PM. Participants should eat breakfast before arriving.
Lunch will be provided on both days for no additional cost.
(Please provide your own meals if strict dietary requirements must be met.)
Cost for youth to attend in 2019 is only $79
Adults are only $49
Fees must be paid in advance in cash/check delivered or mailed to the address above or through Venmo for free. (https://venmo.com/i/joshua-chapman)
